Al-Shuhada Pedestrian Bridge

The idea of the pedestrian bridge was born out of desire to create a safe place for the citizens of the Al-karkh and Rusafa districts at the heart of Baghdad, Iraq. The Al-shuhada bridge is one of busiest bridges connecting two major districts cling an issue of heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic. This bridge was the fit step in a plan to revitalize the tigris River waterfront and allow pedestrians a safe place to conduct business and travel.
